Our Roots
The journey of MRL was started with great faith and determination by Mr Mukund Desai, Founder and Managing Director. As a young graduate, Mr Desai came to Pune from Nagpur with pockets filled with dreams but low on funds. With the desire to start something of his own, he bought a three-wheeler tempo and started providing transport services. Soon after he bought his first truck and since then, there has been no looking back.
The company is built on the vision, dedication, and hard work of Mr Desai and has now grown to the tune of Rs. 30 Crores. His plans for the company do not stop there as he believes the sky is the limit when it comes to business and growth. With a reliable and experienced team as well as the entry of a second-generation entrepreneur, his Daughter, Durga, together they plan to take the company to newer heights.
We consider our drivers an integral part of the organisation. They work day and night under the harshest of weather conditions and deliver consignments worth crores of rupees efficiently. They are the arteries of the heart of the supply chain in logistics and we understand this. The guiding philosophy of MRL is "Collective Development of all’. A good fleet means good transport! Fleet management is an essential practice of the logistics business since all the work depends on the good health of a fleet. We treat our fleet with utmost pride and ensure its upkeep and maintenance.
We ensure that our fleet is in mint condition and all the permits are in place with the existing laws. With years of experience that we have accumulated in the industry, we know how to deal with critical shipments. We have our Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) plans in place in the occurrence of any unforeseen incidents.
